We are equesting prayer for God's direction in our lives. An opportunity came available for us to move back to the Pacific Northwest. It would be a volunteer position, a cabin will be provided, but no pay. We can bring our cats and we would have plenty of time to dedicate ourselves to writng the books God has put on our hearts to write. We would have much time for prayer and refreshing as well.

Thanks for the warm words about Maggie. You know, there are some Scriptures that lead me to believe you are correct with animals in Heaven. God is good and He blesses us in so many ways! I pray y'all enjoy a wonderful Easter full of blessings as we remember all that Christ gave for us!

This would be a faith walk indeed! No more income, insurance or medical security, and this only lasts for 5 months. We would need something else after that. We could set something up during our stay at the cabin, for when we leave, but as of yet have nothing waiting. We have been searching for an opportunity to go back for over a year now. It seems that it is God's will after all the prayer and answers we have recieved.
Now just want to make sure this is definately God's will and we are asking for prayer from the body for we know that is Biblical. Please pray that we would know without a doubt. We need to know ASAP as we would be required to be there on the 20th of May! We know that God sometimes calls us to take risks and chances as he did Abraham, Noah, Elisha, Elijah, Jeremiah, and the disciples, among many many others before and after, not to mention the Savior left His home in glory to fulfill the Fathers will.
And that is what we want to do. Fulfill God's will for our lives. We left Washington State on a wing and a prayer and a call that burned in our hearts and knew without a doubts He was calling us. We left in a motorhome with a small check guarenteed every month but like Abraham, had no idea where He was taking us. We obeyed and have many wonderful stories of God's grace, love and protection and provision to write about in one of our books on our list.
But this time, He is requiring more faith than before as we do not have a motor home, nor a monthly income. However, we feel He has been preparing us to move back for some time now and, as I was praying for a specific answer regarding it, He told me to turn the radio on and Tom Dooley was speaking on taking chances and risks and that sometimes if we do not because we are afraid it could be much worse for us if we do not obey. He talked for over an hour on this subject. He even asked, "Do you really like where you are living right now?" To that, Jeff answered a resounding, "NO!" He even talked about moving to another place and gave examples of other people.
So I took that as a specific answer from God to a specific question I asked. It is possible it was a coincidence, but given the many times I have heard God answer me in this way, I really doubt it was mere chance. Yet even so, I am asking for further confirmation if it doesn't displease the Lord for me to do so. We have felt an urgency to move from Texas for some time now and now it seems we have an opportunity not only to have a place there, but to build our faith even stronger.
And listen to this, of all the places in Oregon or Washington, this place was the only one available and Jeff's brother will live only 30 miles away after he moves there and one of his other brothers from another state will be vacationing there in July 15 minutes away! To me this seems like even more confirmaion as well as just happening to meet another person who lives near as well who has been able to pass on vital information for our stay up there we would not have known.
So God seems to be leading us there. Anyone have any messages to share or prayer or anything we would GREATLY appreciate to hear from the body of Christ at this very crucial time in our lives. I know it sounds foolish and crazy, but I know God calls us to do things that seem foolish to others. I am not afraid if I know it is His will. I am more afraid if I don't obey. Thanks all! -----Barbara
My heart breaks for you in your loss of Angel. She is absolute sweetness. I can't imagine how you must feel, but I pray God's loving peace and comfort for your heart.
My baby girl (my beagle) is almost 15 and she gave me a real scare last month. Losing a loved one is just about the hardest thing we experience in this lifetime. One day, when we stand face-to-face with Christ in Glory, there will be no more tears. Lifting you in prayers this morning.

Be at peace and know that I will always miss you.In Christ,
