Where in Alaska have you been? Right now we have the Fur Rondevous going on - it's our winter carnival. One of the big things is the huge ice sculpures that will be ready to view tomorrow. Then the Iditarod dog sled race will start in about two weeks. We've had really warm weather for the last week or so; it's been in the high 30's and low 40's which is really unusual for February. It's been giving us all a dose of spring fever! And we are getting more sunlight day by day which is making us want to spend more time outside.

No, I think what happened is the place to log miles fell off the page due to more recent posts; on any given Forum or Group discussion, check out the "View All" (located in the bottom right) and you'll see more discussions (if there are several).

You're doing good...Florida is just to pretty to 'speed through' haha! I'll update us tomorrow!

Although I don't have a lot of time to read, I do like spy stories, suspense, courtroom drama type books. I subscribe to "Citizen" magazine published by Focus on the Family. Have you ever read it? It provides a Christian point of view on current events. It's a breath of fresh air to be able to read articles written by Christians as our newspaper here is pretty liberal. What do you like to read?

Obviously its like summer time all year round in Florida -- that's a very different concept to me. I've lived in Alaska for about 35 years, since I was 10 yrs old (spent a couple of years outside as an adult). "Outside" is what we Alaskans call everywhere but Alaska. When we travel to the "lower 48" we say we're going "outside".

What do you do in Florida? Do you wear shorts all year round? :)
