The thought keeps coming up that it is time to share. Share the journey of this new path I find myself on over the past two months. I never thought I would write about this subject, mostly because I was always the one overweight, in bondage and struggling to find that magical formula. So What are you doing July 4th?

It is July 3rd and soon the smell of grilled hot dogs and hamburgers will be floating through the back yards. Throw in a cold diet Pepsi, soft ice-cream and maybe evening fireworks and the Norman Rockwell moment is complete.

What I am learning about Prayer

God convicted me this year that my prayers were not being answered. So I went on a journey to discover why. What I learned is I really wasn't praying consistantly and also I needed to keep my heart humble and right with the Lord. Since then I started a prayer journal. I was so convicted reading about George Muller who had over 80,000 answers to prayer in his life-time. 30,000 were answered the same day he prayed! I know I have the same God as Rev.
