Karen, the Pebble's vineyard is called Grayhaven and is in Gum Springs, Virginia. www.grayhavenwinery.com
Good people, good wine. If you need anymore information just let me know. Tell them that Wanda Ritter put you in touch with them!

Karen, Shawn has a point - some of the best conversations happen after service over food!
And thanks for the compliment on my photos. I just like to take them, no lessons only a love of God's creative powers and His creatios - and a need for quick gratification after I became a mom. LOL
Virginia wine is becoming more and more popular. Friends from when I was growing up (you know the kind who your parents were friends with their parents?) have a vineyard. If you are interested I will ask Momma for the name and website.

Karen - trader joes rocks!!

Lets see - what does Virginia grow. Soybeans are a huge cash crop, corn, tobacco, cotton, really just about any veggie.
Lots of apple and cherry trees Pears too. Honey is popular as many people keep hives on their farms. Then we have cattle for milk and for beef. Sheep, chickens, lots of horses, vineyards that are become nationally and internationally recognized... politicians LOL...hmm...
Think thats about it... but i'm sure there are dozens i have missed : )

Thanks for the prayers Karen.
I must agree that Huckabee is closest to my beleifs and values too. Hillary scares me. Living so close to DC I've been following the canadates even before they became national names. LOL
I just noticed that you live in "Phillips Ranch" - thats funny. My Aunt Caryn (my Uncle JW was killed this spring in an auto accident) lives at and runs Phillips Organic Farm in Ruther Glen Virginia.

Karen - thanks for the encouragment. There are days I feel 18 and days I feel 58... so I suppose feeling my own age it pretty good. If it weren't for the new grey hairs LOL

Karen hun, I love debating doctrine and theology, perhaps you are just not at the right church for this time in your life. Have you considered trying a Messianic Church? Then you would get both the Jewish view of the OT and the full implication of the NT.
I myself am southern babptist, born and raised - wandered through a couple other denominations and came home again.
If you like reading Karen I can share some really wonderful books with you. Or would love to talk about more important things thien just he good deeds of the day. LOL Drop me a line anytime hun.
