- I am 59 and separated for 3 years and finally getting some spousal support. The judge wants the divorce over by Dec 2007 I am also looking to find some work! I recently freelanced at the Gem and Jewelrey Show in Houston. If you do shows or events at churches and need someone to work for you, I would be happy to assist. . Its time for me to venture out of my shell! I am interested in starting a group also of divorced or separated women perhaps anywhere from mid or late 30' and over. I am in the process of starting a weekly group - Houston Christian Women's Fellowship. To meet every second week for lunch and fellowship. I believe in networking - there is so much going on in Houston, that Christain ladies might be interested in, but we don't always know about. For example - Kim Clement being at CLC in November; various fall bazaars and Christmas activities in our churches; ladies events and so forth...
I was thinking we could do every second week for lunch, then the weeks in between would be either Saturday or an evening meeting to accomodate the working women.
I know quite a few places where we can meet, either daytime or evening. What do you think? Would you be willing to attend?
